Elton Brunetti—a married father of two residing in Brusque, Santa Catarina—began his artistic journey working with comic books, where he developed and refined his skills in anatomical drawing, light and shadow, and perspective.
He has been a visual artist for over 26 years, having created and sold more than 1,335 canvases in Brazil and abroad.
His style is rooted in academic/classical and hyper-realist traditions, drawing inspiration from great masters of the 16th through 19th centuries, such as Caravaggio.
A lover of art history with a particular focus on Baroque and Neoclassical art, he counts among his major influences Caravaggio (the Baroque master), Jacques-Louis David, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau (the most influential realist artist of the 19th century).
He has been active in online education for seven years, offering over 710 recorded video lessons across 14 different courses: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Horse Painting, Feline Painting, Portraiture, Landscapes, Florals, Special Themes, Biblical Themes, Drawing, Pet Painting, and Psittacine Painting (currently in development), as well as exclusive courses on specific, unique paintings.
